To all on the list,
We are a Microsoft ISA Proxy site - but as we believe in testing all
software from any vendor - be it MS, Java or Linux Open Source - I setup
Squid on my Red Hat Linux 9 box for some testing.
My, my, my but does this baby fly - even on a small Pentium III 333Mhz with
194Mb RAM and a 10Mb Eithernet TCP/IP connection.
It took me a bit of reading but the experience was well worth it.
A big thanks to the Squid programmers, contributors, this and other Squid
lists and finally the Open Source movement.
