Can you give some idea of how much memory is required to support each redirector, or is this a fuction of which redirector is used and what the redirector is doing? In my case, I am using squidGuard. > > > I am just wondering how many redirector children I should specify for a > > system that is potentially supporting 5,000+ users. > > How many requests/s? Well, say 1000 of these customers are accessing the Internet at any given time, so all requests are being sent through squid and the redirector. Murrah Boswell
