If its so "clearly documented", then why is it that no one else has been able 
to give me any other answer then "set it to /dev/null"?

Henrik, with all due respect, you have the advantage of knowing all this 
stuff without having to rely on the documentation. The documentation for squid is 
vague at best. And I've read everything I could find on "cache-access-log" and 
none of it mentions how to disable it. Thats why Im asking.
