What exacly did you do?
What you need to do is to add an attribute to the user objects carrying the email address, and then use the -f option to squid_ldap_auth to specify how to search for the users DN.
Guess I have to modify squid_ldap_auth then. Thanks Henrik.
Not if you can add attributes to the LDAP directory making it look like a more normal directory.
