I want to configure a network using proxy-cache under linux. I don't know much about managing this into linux, but I haven't found what I'm looking for inside the forums.
The actual configuratio is as follws: I have 2 computers in a LAN with addresses 172.16.0.154 & 172.16.0.155 labelled as "dune" & "minipi" respectively. These computers are connected to a 3com ADSL router which IP is 172.16.0.153. This router connects to internet through an ISP which assigns it a dynamic IP. This router is connected to another router inside the local network with 172.16.0.1 IP, which acts as a gateway with another ISP to internet. Actually the first pc labelled dune uses the ADSL router/gateway to access internet and the other PC labelled minipi uses the other router/gateway. Both clients are using Windows. I have another PC (will have the 172.16.0.156 IP) that I'm not using and I would like to setup it to host a proxy-cache under linux. The main goal is to cache the two connections to internet through the two gateways in one shared directory, but the first pc would connect to internet through the first gateway, and the second pc through the second gategay, as it actually does. The reason is to have profit of the connections of one gateway with the pc that it's not connected to it. Anyone can help me? If it's not well expressed, forgive me for my english. I'm trying to do my best. Thank you.
