Hi, I know this is the wrong list, but I am hoping that Rick Matthews here is the same guy who on the MARC squidGuard mailing list submitted the checklist for compiling squidGuard with db 3.2.2. ;)
I have been using squidGuard for some time using the older db-2.7.7 without any problems, on rh 8 and 9. I have just migrated onto Fedora core 1.0, and tried compiling squidGuard with db-3.2.2 following the checklist. I am having no luck with this, and using the old db, I get a domainlist empty error. the error I get when I compile is: /usr/local/BerkeleyDB.3.2/lib/libdb.a(mut_pthread.o)(.text+0xb6): In function `__db_pthread_mutex_init': : undefined reference to `pthread_condattr_setpshared' /usr/local/BerkeleyDB.3.2/lib/libdb.a(mut_pthread.o)(.text+0xd4): In function `__db_pthread_mutex_init': : undefined reference to `pthread_mutexattr_init' /usr/local/BerkeleyDB.3.2/lib/libdb.a(mut_pthread.o)(.text+0xee): In function `__db_pthread_mutex_init': : undefined reference to `pthread_mutexattr_setpshared' /usr/local/BerkeleyDB.3.2/lib/libdb.a(mut_pthread.o)(.text+0x125): In function `__db_pthread_mutex_init': : undefined reference to `pthread_mutexattr_destroy' /usr/local/BerkeleyDB.3.2/lib/libdb.a(mut_pthread.o)(.text+0x1eb): In function `__db_pthread_mutex_lock': : undefined reference to `pthread_mutex_trylock' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make: *** [squidGuard] Error 1 If there is a way I can successfully compile squidGuard that would be great, if not *SHRUG* thanks, GB
