Hi everyone,
i hope its just a small problem, most likely i'm too blind to see the error in my config :)
I'm dealing with Squid 2.5STABLE5 on a W2k System. Both NTLM and Basic Auth are working just fine, now i try to check for group membership.
I tested win32_check_group on the command line:
C:\squid-2.5.STABLE5\libexec>win32_check_group -G -c domain\\username InternetUser OK
I added the following lines to the squid.conf:
external_acl_type NT_global_group %LOGIN c:/squid-2.5.STABLE5/libexec/win32_check_group -G -c
acl GProxyUsers external NT_global_group InternetUser
acl password proxy_auth REQUIRED
http_access allow password GProxyUsers
(taken from the documentation, just changed pathnames and the name of the group)
There is a typo in the documentation: on Windows you must specify the executable extension, so your squid.conf directive should be:
external_acl_type NT_global_group %LOGIN c:/squid-2.5.STABLE5/libexec/win32_check_group.exe -G -c
Regards
Guido
