(i tested www.samba.org to see if the site is cacheable, and it is!!)
in my squid.conf we uses: --------------------- cache_peer proxy.kennisnet.nl parent 8080 0 default acl all src 0.0.0.0-0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0 acl adminet src 192.168.9.0/255.255.255.0 acl jordanet src 192.168.2.0/255.255.255.0 http_access allow adminet http_access allow jordanet http_access allow all http_reply_access allow all icp_access allow all never_direct allow all never_direct allow adminet never_direct allow jordanet ----------------------- we are behind several firewall's and can only use this proxy.kennisnet.nl proxy server to retreve the pages..!
