I'm running Squid Cache: Version 2.4.STABLE6 on Linux version 2.4.20-28.7smp Red Hat Linux 7.3 2.96-126
on an Intel platform, with 1Gb RAM
ANhour ago my server crashed and now when I restart squid, i get the ff mesgs (note that squid is running...but i suspect it is running slower that before crash)
In cache.log i get ff mesgs :- 2004/05/14 11:00:52| WARNING: failed to unpack meta data 2004/05/14 11:01:40| WARNING! Your cache is running out of filedescriptors 2004/05/14 11:01:56| WARNING! the hw tcp v4 csum failed msg appears all the time and has been since i built server a few years ago.
Can anyone help?
