Use the same ulimit -HSn option as in FAQ.
Do the same in http://squid.sourceforge.net/hno/linux-lfd.html

It is not possbile to have more FD's without reconfiguration of Squid.
Configuration with more FD's will make the Squid with more FD's.

It is okie to have to the FD's to minimum of 32768.
