With 2.4 you get a blank page, and this is not a correct result too.
In Squid 2.5 there is a code section that blocks NTLM web authentication and get to you an authentication failure. This is more correct.

Sorry, but there is nothing to do: NTLM authentication cannot be used with web proxy by Microsoft design.
There was many threads on this list before about this topic.
So, your solution can be to use Basic authentication (over SSL is security is a needs) or Digest authentication for the web site.
