tail -f /var/log/squid/cache.log

Run above command on proxy server. When the server stop again with segment
fault, you will see some log entry here.

Check your disk space, make sure the cache is not over filling the
partition.

Send that log report, or even do a

tail -100 /var/log/squid/cache.log, and send it.

 Hi all!
 I have one squid server and 35 client.
 Squid server sometimes die. I found log 'segment fault'
 then client can not connect server bit can ping to server.

 My server config is redhat 9.0 , squid stable 2.5
 Server Compaq ML330 667Mhz , 392 RAM , 9+36G HDD

 I configure server below

./configure --prefix=/usr/local/squid --sysconfdir=/usr/local/squid/etc --en
able-dl-malloc
 make
 main install


 How I fix it. help me!
