Is jy dom ? ;) tail -f /var/log/squid/cache.log
Run above command on proxy server. When the server stop again with segment fault, you will see some log entry here. Check your disk space, make sure the cache is not over filling the partition. Send that log report, or even do a tail -100 /var/log/squid/cache.log, and send it.
