That is what I can gather from an assumed definition of what you call a sub proxy.

Subject: [squid-users] sub proxy
Hello, I have a squid proxy server running on Mandrake 10 (system A). System A has eth0 as gateway with fixed IP and eth1 for LAN. I have another system (system B) on Mandrake 10 with two NICs which is recieving internet thru squid proxy from system A. Is it possible for me to setup a squid sub proxy on system B with eth0 recieving from system's A eth1 as gateway ?
Thanks in advance
Varun
