To be honest I don't know if I can be much help since I don't use Squid ACL's and never have. I only use squidGuard for filtering.
You can get the blacklists from here: http://www.squidguard.org/blacklist/ You will have to check the (http or ftp) directory that the file is in, for the date it was last updated. --Angela -----Original Message----- From: Boniforti Flavio [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: July 12, 2004 11:14 AM To: Angela Burrell Cc: squid users Subject: Re: [squid-users] ACLs and squidGuard!? I was actually thinking to place the RegEx filters (with which I use to filter out multimedia/streaming content) in squid.conf, instead of using them with squidguard... What do you think of this? I mean: I actually should allow *some* people to access multimedia content, while the mass of our users doesn't have to get that content. Which way is the easiest/most suitable? Squid or squidguard? > Do you want to filter out certain types of sites? Like gambling, auctions, > porn? Do you have a computer use policy?
