i change the version of squid and compiled squid2.5-stable3 and 2.4stable7 under fedora linux core 2 (kernel-2.6) but i got page faults and squid failed to start whether or not with dlmalloc support!... also i installed kernel2.4.18 and 2.4.16 ..but yet i've got page fault and squid has been terminated abnormaly! (the error is attached below)
