[squid-users] Recompile Squid : Procedure needed

I have many times in my cache.log :
WARNING! Your cache is running out of filedescriptors

I read for this it's nessessary to recompile Squid. So I'm looking for
procedure for this.
My squid is 2.6Stable6 on Debian Linux
