Hi, squid-users. My squid use too much system resources. There is cachemgr stat:
Resource usage for squid: UP Time:84439.657 seconds CPU Time:4465.860 seconds CPU Usage:5.29% CPU Usage, 5 minute avg: >>18.46%<< SOMETIMES 20-40% CPU Usage, 60 minute avg:19.02% Process Data Segment Size via sbrk(): 226272 KB Maximum Resident Size: 0 KB Page faults with physical i/o: 22930 Memory usage for squid via mallinfo(): Total space in arena: 226272 KB Ordinary blocks: 225777 KB 480 blks Small blocks: 0 KB 0 blks Holding blocks: 192 KB 1 blks Free Small blocks: 0 KB Free Ordinary blocks: 495 KB Total in use: 225969 KB 100% Total free: 495 KB 0% Total size: >>226464<< KB squid.conf about memory options: cache_mem 33554432 bytes (32 МБ) maximum_object_size_in_memory 8192 bytes memory_replacement_policy lru memory_pools off memory_pools_limit 5242880 bytes (5МБ) delay_pools are enabled. Acls from file to deny porno is 22918 (maybe trouble in that?) All system memory is 512MB Disk cache is 2GB. Users ~ 62 enabled on this squid but some of them are proxys (cache_peer) so ALL end users about 600-700... SQuid version is 2.5.STABLE6 on Linux 2.4.27 I know, squid overlimits cache_mem about in ~ 3 times, but mine 226464/32= 7!!! Thanks for answers PS. Excuse my english
