Works for me with all browsers I have tried having the "save password" function.
Since it occurs with 2 different applications I don't believe in a bug in the browsers, rather than missconfiguration of my Squid. What could be wrong?
Not very much, but you can try enabling "log_mime_hdrs" and look for what your browsers is sending to Squid.
