304 http responses MUST NOT have a reply entity (RFC 2616 10.3.5).
On all the other status codes Squid does forward the reply entity if any, provided the HTTP response is a valid HTTP message.
To help you out further please post the output of squidclient talking to both your Squid and the parent proxy for the troublesome page in question.
