Im using squid as a transparent proxy, with blacklist (around 250 expressions.. quite small) and with delay pools, and it isn't overloaded, we got only 35 PCs. I also tested it up here at home, and I got the same problem, the server is running Debian 3.0r2 with the lastest patches, it's a little weirdo ... I really don't know got any clues why this happen... ah.. also theres no bandwidth utilization, so no delay because of it. If anyone got any clues from where to begin I really appreciate.
