All, I'm trying to setup squid to work out of band to log all http traffic. I have a "mirror" port on my core switch redirecting all traffic to a promiscusous port on my squid box (being used for IDS, etc). My question is: is there a way for me to configure squid to log all http-get traffic on that interface? I want to be able to use the logging functionality to do some things that my IDS cannot do, which is give me statistics on web traffic (source/destination/bytes, etc). Any ideas welcome
