Hi, I have the same problem with squid on winnt4.0
It seems to depend on the fqdn as squid works fine with the fqdn. But with the short name "http://intra/" the error occurs. The exact error is: >The requested URL could not be retrieved > >-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- > >While trying to retrieve the URL: http://intra:81/ > >The following error was encountered: > >Unable to determine IP address from host name for intra >The dnsserver returned: > >Name Error: The domain name does not exist. >This means that: > > The cache was not able to resolve the hostname presented in the URL. > Check if the address is correct. Your cooperation is welcome. Mit freundlichen Gren, Volker Neise > -----Ursprngliche Nachricht----- > Von: Serassio Guido [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Gesendet: Donnerstag, 11.
