This has been discussed to death over the past three days.  Several 
workarounds have been offered, the best of which seems to be this gem 
from Albert (which was based on a refinement by Vinod of the original 
suggestion by Enrico on bugzilla):

acl hotmail_domains dstdomain .hotmail.msn.com
acl ie6 browser MSIE[[:space:]]6
header_access Accept-Encoding deny ie6 hotmail_domains
I don't have IE6 handy, so I haven't tested it yet, but many folks here 
seem to have success with it.
