Squid only uses, more or less, the space it is configured to use.
Check the cache_dir line in squid.conf. If there is none, its default is
usually
cache_dir ufs /var/spool/squid 100 16 256
Meaning that it should use 100MByte. That would be 102400kByte. If you add
or change that line, make sure to reinitialize the cache dir (squid -z).
