Hi! We are facing an weird problem here with ntlm authentication. After we upgraded our Linux boxes to Fedora Core 3, sometimes the user is prompted with the authentication window from squid.
Looking at the winbindd.log I have found the following error message: [2005/02/21 12:20:44, 0] rpc_client/cli_pipe.c:cli_nt_session_open(1451) cli_nt_session_open: cli_nt_create failed on pipe \NETLOGON to machine <SERVER_NAME>. Error was NT_STATUS_PIPE_NOT_AVAILABLE [2005/02/21 12:20:44, 0] rpc_client/cli_pipe.c:cli_nt_setup_netsec(1622) Could not initialise \PIPE\NETLOGON What could be going wrong?
