I am facing problem while accessing any ftp sites using squid proxy. My proxy is behind the firewall. When I am trying ftp://ftp.site.com from IE 6 instead of asking user name and password it is throw following error message. ERROR The requested URL could not be retrieved -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- An FTP authentication failure occurred while trying to retrieve the URL: ftp://jccftp1.informindia.co.in/ Squid sent the following FTP command: PASS <yourpassword> and then received this reply User anonymous cannot log in. Your cache administrator is root. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Generated Tue, 15 Mar 2005 04:57:40 GMT by proxy (Squid/2.4.STABLE6) When I am doing ftp://username:[EMAIL PROTECTED] I am able to view and download the files hosted on the site.
