I've installed 2.5.STABLE9-20050404 on over 30 servers,
each running RedHat Linux 2.1 AS on Intel Xenon CPUs.
They've been running since Monday morning at 12:30 AM EST.
Since then I've gotten 6 mail messages from the squid
process saying I've encountered a fatal error. The
cache.log file says it's a segmentation violation. I
have yet to see the same server die twice. I haven't
found a core file to examine.

I build squid with the following options:
   --enable-cache-digests
   --enable-underscores
   --with-pthreads
   --enable-storeio=aufs
   --enable-removal-policies
   --enable-gnuregex

Has anyone else seen this problem? I didn't have this problem
with 2.5STABLE9.
