Hello, squid have sent me twice this email:
====== From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Date: Mon, 18 Apr 2005 17:07:48 +0200 (CEST) To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] From: squid To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: The Squid Cache (version 2.5.STABLE9-20050324) died. You've encountered a fatal error in the Squid Cache version 2.5.STABLE9-20050324. If a core file was created (possibly in the swap directory), please execute 'gdb squid core' or 'dbx squid core', then type 'where', and report the trace back to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thanks! ===== In cache.log I have found twice "FATAL: Received Segment Violation...dying." and then squid seems to be running fine. Unfortunately there was no core file as said in the squid's mails. Extracted from squid.conf: cache_dir aufs /cache1 20000 16 256 cache_dir aufs /cache2 20000 16 256 cache_dir aufs /cache3 20000 16 256 cache_dir aufs /cache4 20000 16 256 cache_dir aufs /cache5 20000 16 256 cache_dir aufs /cache6 20000 16 256 coredump_dir /cache1 Where could I find this core file ? Thanks for your help, -- ______________________________________________________________ A: Yes. Magali BERNARD >Q: Are you sure? >>A: Because it reverses the logical flow of conversation. >>>Q: Why is top posting annoying in email?
