Happens when the hardcoded mxdsize of 512MB is reached then the
xmalloc: unable message appears and squid crashes. Squid do not use
any swap it simply crashes and it does not matter how much RAM the
machine may have.

Soon I set maxdsiz to any value higher the 512 squid do not crash
anymore and start using swap when not enough RAM available.

So I wonder what is reason and like to ask if you have some ideas
about this.
