You should upgrade.. there has been quite many NTLM bugfixes in Squid in the 3.5 years since 2.5.STABLE1 was released. > that are known to samba. Do I also need to use > winbind? If yes, how does it need to be configured? Yes your Samba needs to have winbind enabled. There is no special configuration of winbind required I think and probaly why you don't find any mentioned.. Are you sure your Samba server is not running winbind already? It's normally enabled.. Regards Henrik
