??? Squid fills the directory in numeric order, so all L2 directories in your active L1 directories should be used. L1/L2/filenumber 00/00/00000000 00/00/00000001 .. 00/FF/00FFFFFF 01/00/01000000 so you will find that the last L1 directories are empty, and that the last used L1 directory only have some of it's first L2 directories used. > Is there any advantage (performance and/or memory utilization) to reducing > the L2 dir count from 256 to, say, 150?
