Ive been following instructions found here http://www.flatmtn.com/computer/Linux-SquidNT.html#Squid-4 and am working now on compiling squid with winbind support.
[EMAIL PROTECTED] squid-2.6.STABLE2]# ./configure --enable-ntlm-auth-helpers="winbind,SMB" --enable-external-acl-helpers="unix_group,wbinfo_group" --enable-auth="ntlm,basic" --with-winbind-auth-chalenge --with-samba-sources="/root/samba_daily/samba3_release/" running that command i get the following error Auth scheme modules built: ntlm basic ERROR: NTLM auth helper winbind does not exists yet winbind is installed, working properly, in the path and everything. Even if you use /root/samba_daily/samba3_release/source as the source of samba, no go :( any ideas? --adam -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
