I am planning a reinstall/reformat of the OS and wondering if I can compress the cache directory and uncompress it once the OS and squid reinstall is complete.
If yes to the above question, do I still need to run "squid -z" after reinstalling squid? Thank you for the help ps. My backup scripts already copies squid.conf.
