Hey George,

Since One of my hats is working at the UniMelb as a NetAdmin I checked this on my setup, and had no delay at all. I am running (after fixing my own stupid compile flag errors...) a generic configuration with using transparent proxy on STABLE3 on slackware linux.

Doe snot seem to be an inherent squid problem.

Good morning,

It was brought to my attention that there is a 5 second delay when
accessing the following page and their respective sub menus
http://cat.lib.unimelb.edu.au/

Start by checking access.log. One of the columns indicate the response
time. Maybe you can find a interesting pattern on what is delaying the
pages? (might be some inline object not working out well)

Henrik
