Only Basic is capable of such forking of the authentication, as plain text passwords is required to be able to authenticate to two different endpoints at the same time. The other "secure" schemes can only authenticate to a single endpoint at a time, and there is only room for a single proxy authentication within HTTP. Regards Henrik
