Henrik The WSUS service is running under the local network service account. There is a configuration option to specify whether a proxy server is used and whether user credentials are required. I have selected this option and entered the correct details for the proxy and a valid domain user account.
Using a proxy server worked fine under WSUS 2.0 and .Net 1.1.
