I assume you ask how to avoid having to enter the SSL key encryption password manually when starting Squid. For this you have two options: a) Decrypt your key file. Done using openssl rsa -in encrypted.pem -out decrypted.pe b) Feed the key encryption password to Squid automatically when needed. See the sslpassword_program squid.conf directive. Regards Henrik
