Thats a completely different thing and harmless. All the above says is that your Squid is built with cache digests support, but your parent refuses to give a cache digest to your Squid insisting on requiring authentication.. To get rid of this message simply disable cache digests exchanges for the peer (see cache_peer). Note: The parent most likely do not support cache digests. Regards Henrik
