AKA squid has been left hanging waiting for a response. Redirector has
reset waiting for another request. What do you think is going to happen?

If it does not understand the URI it needs to do one of the following:
1) silently accept, and return the original
2) redirect URL to an error page indicating what has gone wrong inside the
redirector.
