1. Squid (2.6S17) doesn't cause any problems with Move Media Player, at least in a non-transparent configuration. 2. The Move Media Player is not limited to IE. It will install gracefully on Firefox; my wife runs it all the time with SeaMonkey. This is on WinXP.
