Hi

On further investigation, if I rem out the https reverse proxy lines and go to the site I get the following in the log files!!

1210160644.094 10 81.137.207.71 TCP_IMS_HIT/304 296 GET http://www.optimalprofit.com/ - NONE/- ext/html 2008/05/07 12:44:04| Failed to select source for 'http://www.optimalprofit.com/images/op-hwynit-ad1.gif'
2008/05/07 12:44:04| always_direct = 0

1210160644.136 41 81.137.207.71 TCP_MISS/503 1649 GET http://www.optimalprofit.com/images/op-hwynit-ad1.gif - NONE/- text/html
2008/05/07 12:44:04| never_direct = 0
2008/05/07 12:44:04| timedout = 0

I seem to get the webpage in the root dir but I can't find the pictures in the images dir.

The picture defiantly exists! (Log extract from internal machine)
1210161317.271 66 192.168.0.99 TCP_MISS/200 264565 GET http://www.optimalprofit.com/images/op-hwynit-ad1.gif - DIRECT/192.168.0.11 image/gif
Many thanks

Gordon

Hi

Is there any debug info I can get to try and get to the bottom of this one - or am I going to have to try installing the i386 version of FreeBSD7 to see if that fixes it?

Many thanks

Gordon

Hi

Does anyone have any ideas on how to get a fix for this one? Is it a bsd issues or a squid issue?

Many thanks

Gordon

Hi

The box is only used from a shell prompt(no GUI installed), but I installed lynx and the sites work fine.

Kind regards

Gordon

One last point, the sites work fine internally, but not externally and I also have another domain setup and forwarding to a different internal IP and
it does the same. The odd bit about it all is the site will come
eventually - if you have enough patience. As far as I can see there are no
errors in the log files on either server

Can you reach the sites fine if running a browser on the Squid server
but without using Squid?
