Not possible to configure. There are apparently patches around somewhere to replace the low-level code in squid to use SOCKS4 instead of native TCP. I don't know about SOCKS5. If anyone wants to submit a patch which allows Squid-3.HEAD to use SOCKS we are favorable towards merging it as a build-time option. Amos
