I was chasing down the streaming media glitches that I've been

After my latest attempt, I determined it was squid:

I'm hitting this issue in squid 3.0.STABLE8-1. Is there any chance of
the workaround being forward-ported to squid-3? Obviously it's
non-intrusive, since it simply adds a config option...
Many thanks,

Unfortunately it is extremely intrusive on the code side. Squid-3 does a
lot more request upgrading toward HTTP/1.1 than Squid-2 did when it was
added. So the patch is taking longer than expected to get right.
I'm hoping for a port to be available for Squid-3.1/3.2.
