i just installed the fedora 10 to use squid as proxy server. it has squid
version 10. but it is not compiled with --enable -arp-acl to support the MAC
based filtering option. how can i enable this feature. as i m new to fedora a
detailed help will be needed.
You may re-install Squid from the sources.
When configure it, specify the "--enable-arp-acl" option:
# ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/squid --enable-arp-acl ...
# make && make install
There are Squid-2.7 and 3.0 available on squid-cache.org.
But there is not squid version 10.
