Hi All, I am trying to setup squid as web cache server for wccp2 with cisco router. it works great. but when I try to setup squid to let it work with multicast address. problem pops up. There's not too much documents on internet for squid+wccp2+mulicast.
I set up wccp2_router to multicast address(same address the cisco router set to). From sniffer I can see squid send out HERE_I_AM to the multicast address and cisco router can see HERE_I_AM and reply a I_SEE_YOU to the mulicast address, but It looks like squid doesn't listen on this mulitcast address at all, so squid never send out a REDIRECT_ASSIGNMENT Just wondering, squid does support wccp2+muticast or not? if it does, anyone know how to set it up ?
