I'm running 8.04 aka "Hardy" which is ubuntu's current Long Term Support.
10.4 (comes out in april) will be their next Long Term Support. I planned to
upgrade all of my 8.04 servers at the beginnings of the summer. So I guess
when I upgrade to 10.4 this bug will go away. Any advice on a dirty fix to
get me through until then?
