I am running Squid 3.0 STABLE24 on an Ubuntu 8.04 server. When I try to
make a transparent proxy I get the following warning in my syslog:
WARNING: transparent proxying not supported
This message seems to appear every time a client makes an access
request. Squid seems to service some requests fine, but every few
minutes stops working. I searched around but I couldn't seem to find
anything in the archives. Is this a known problem or am I just doing
something wrong? Thank you.

Maybe a misconfiguration in squid.conf. How did you activate transparent
proxy? Some more infos would be helpful.
