Thanks Alex for taking time, I tried a download of opensuse 11.2 dvd with firefox 3.6

The issue - if you are using IE - has nothing to do with Squid, it is a well known IE issue and the download will still fail when Squid is not in use. If you use any browser other than IE the issue should not occur. If you are not using IE - what's the URL so some tests can be performed?
