[squid-users] Force connection to squid

Hi, I would like to know if there is some way to force browsers to 
connect to a squid proxy without using a transparent proxy, as I need 
authentication, and transparent isn't compatible with that. So how can I 
make all connections go through a non-transparent squid proxy. Or is 
there a way to have authentication and transparent squid. If so, give a 
how to.
