It depends on what you want to do with it, but in general I will say yes. You should do some reading about cacheing and selecting Hardrives. Disk I/O can be a huge lag if you have slow disks. http://www.deckle.co.za/squid-users-guide/Installing_Squid#Hard_Disks have fun -j
